ATMA ( Agricultural Technology Management Agency) is a government agency that associates with select farms and declares them as farm schools for agricultural technology dissemination purposes. In the year of 2014-15, Parackattu farm was selected by ATMA as the farm school in Bharanickavu Block Panchayat.
The Farm School provides:
- Season long technical training to farmers with at least one interactive session for each of the 6 critical stages in a cropping season
- Front line demonstrations for one or more crops. These demonstrations would focus on Integrated Crop Management including Field Preparations, Seed Treatment, Integrated Pest Management and Integrated Nutrient Management.
Farmers from other Farm schools of various Block Panchayats also visit Parackattu farm as part of their field visit demonstrations. We at Parackattu farm love sharing our experiences with other farmers and individuals interested in farming.

കൃഷി വിദ്യാലയം
ഭരണിക്കാവ് ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ കൃഷിയിടവിദ്യാലയമായി 2014-15 വർഷം പാറക്കാട്ട് ഫാമിനെയാണ് തിതെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. വിത്തിട്ടു വിളവെടുക്കുന്നതുവരെയുള്ള പല ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലായി ആറു ക്ലാസ്സുകളാണ് ഇവിടെ നടത്തിയത്. ഒന്നുരണ്ടു വിളകൾക്ക് പ്രദർശനത്തോട്ടമൊരുക്കി, കൃഷിയിടമൊരുക്കൾ, വിത്തിടീൽ, വളപ്രയോഗം, രോഗ-കീട നിയന്ത്രണ മാർഗങ്ങൾ, വിളവെടുപ്പ് മുതലായ സംയോജിത വിളപരിപാലന മുറകൾ കർഷകരിലെത്തിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു
സമീപ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലുള്ള വിവിധ കൃഷിവിദ്യാലയങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും കര്ഷകസംഘങ്ങൾ പാറക്കാട്ട് ഫാം സാധാരണയായി സന്ദർശിക്കാറുണ്ട്.
കർഷകർക്കും, കൃഷിതത്പരരായ പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്കും കൃഷി അറിവുകൾ പകർന്നു നൽകുകയും കൃഷിയിടം സന്ദർശിക്കാനുള്ള അവസരം ഒരുക്കുകയും ഇവിടെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
